Carmen Ferrari, a certified meetings professional with a bachelor in business administration, joins EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium) as Events and Marketing Manager. Carmen is passionate about bringing people together and has a wealth of experience in facilitating interaction among individuals. Her role includes management of events and expands to any form of online/offline interaction among experts and leaders of the international photonics community. EPIC enables the industry to build meaningful, long-lasting and strategic relationships. Bringing people together is at the core of the association’s mission. By hiring an Events and Marketing Manager, EPIC continues to carry out its mission and aims to bring it to the next level.

“The timing for Carmen to join the EPIC team is perfect as it allows us to extend our offering of member services from technology workshops to now also include a series of international business delegations” says Carlos Lee, Director General of the association. EPIC has numerous requests to help its members make fruitful contacts not only in Europe but across the world and in regions that are harder to reach. Delegations are currently in preparation for China, Singapore, Israel, Brazil and considered for Russia, and South Africa.
